2024 Hurricane Season
The 2024 Atlantic hurricane season officially begins on June 1, 2024 and it will end on November 30, 2024. Please remember as you prepare for the upcoming season, verify all outside shutoff valves are working properly to docks, outdoor showers, irrigations systems and outbuildings. These valves are important in case of emergencies.

Inclement Weather - Frozen Piping

During these spurts of extremely cold weather, you may experience interruptions of water due to your personal plumbing being frozen. Make sure that all exposed plumbing is insulated. For frozen plumbing, try to locate the area that is exposed and SAFELY generate heat, noting that using electrical appliances around water (ice, snow) is never safe. Otherwise, it really is a waiting game. Small water lines freeze quickly, but generally they thaw shortly after temps reach above freezing.
